Had an overall great experience at this location. The staff was friendly and on it. Loved the coziness of the seats. Love that they validated parking. Lost a star because I would have liked the seat legs to go up a tad more and the "double" that I upgraded to (drink) was not really a double.
I have visited IPIC on a few occasions before yesterday and have never received a blanket so I loved this addition. I also enjoyed the new short rib sandwich on the menu. I will definitely be back for that!
This theater is very modern. It has reclining seats and trays for your food. The decor throughout the theater is nice. The server was kind however it took awhile for our food to arrive. They charge an automatic 18% for gratuity. They validate your parking so you only pay $3 for 4.5 hours which is a steal in Atlanta. I would recommend this theater.
Validated parking - $3 towards 4.5 hours. This is the cheapest part of this excursion. Great food court. Caribbean, desserts, American fare and other options. For the movies, you check in downstairs then ride the escalator to the theaters and a well stocked bar. Bathrooms are decent. Comfort and size of the theater is undefeated. I had the nachos and I was content with it all. But I did have to quality check my meal. I didn't get the Guac they brought it after. Be aware, there is the price of the meal, 18% that goes to the entire staff, and they'll ask for an individual tip that goes to your server. My point is you could comfortably spend over $100 more like $200. You could eat before and just order a soda and popcorn, but if you want to it all in, then.... I don't go to the movies often. But when I want to see a blockbuster, I will definitely come back.
This theater is a fantastic choice for a date night. Everything about it is stunning, from the artwork on the walls to the restrooms. The design features show a great deal of thought and elegance. The staff was friendly, and the food was terrific. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I find movie theater prices to be quite high already, and $21 felt a bit excessive. I also want to point out that this theater is not ideal for anyone other than couples. The seating is arranged in pods for two, which are comfortable and spacious. They provide a blanket, but I don't recommend using it since it didn't smell great, and I'm unsure if they replace them with clean ones after each showing. Overall, though, it's an experience worth having!
